Three slightly scruffy looking candidates for the 404 club. 

An early Great Britain (Dundee, most likely pre 1963) Timex Marlin, a Kered Automatic 25 jewel, and a ladies  Accurist 21 jewel.

I have no idea what is in any of them, so a bit of a pot luck lot, however since they averaged £1.70 each + postage, I'm unlikely to be disappointed.

The Kered brand appears to be another Croydon importer, loosely related to the Avia, Services and Newmark  UK importer family. 

The Kered dial says "Foreign" at the bottom, so perhaps from the USSR, Germany, France, China... or pretty much anywhere other than Switzerland. My guess is that it is  German, perhaps a Kienzle 25 Jewel 71/1 (ETA 2788), but that of course is pure conjecture.

I'll just have to see what arrives in the mail.

Also on its way for a couple of quid, a dead Sekonda 19 Jewel USSR era most likely a Raketa 2609.HA

The Raketa 2609.HA often suffers from gummed up keyless work, and/or gummed up setting mechanism, so hopefully a nice easy fix.

A bit of Googlefoo suggests that the Kered is a French brand that used movements from a variety of makers. Yours I reckon houses a Duromat 25 or 26 jewel auto which is a variation on a Durowe 7520.

The Sekonda is almost certainly a 2609.HA, bullet proof and potentially quite capable once serviced.

Not a bad haul at all for the money.

But in this case I acquired 4 new watches including 2 Russian made electronics and 1 Russian made, early mecha-quartz and 1 Timex Electronic. Yes, I know I have an issue with blue watches, That's why I started my post about them here, lol. I'm not sure about the canary yellow Luch, maybe it will grow on me when I get it in hand.

I fell in love with this Chayka mecha-quartz. The model 3050, stepper is enormous! Plus, that blue sucks me in every time!

I've wanted one of these Luch electronic watches for some time, the seller had two and offered a great price for them. Hoping the yellow isn't as intense in hand. I've heard good things about the 3055 movements, hopefully it's true.

Ever since @JohnD Shared his copy of this watch, I knew I had to have one. I'm sorry folks if I'm not acquiring wholly unique pieces, But I collect what I like, as I hope we all do.

I'm a bit nervous for the Russians as I'm not certain about the reliability of the various movements. Hopefully the rugged simplicity that are the hallmarks of the Russian engineering ethos will win through.

I love the rectangular Chayka, I was only looking at those on eBay last night. Looks like we share the same eclectic taste in oddball watches ...

and as for the Wittnauer in your other post, that has a great dial......I do not have an ESA9154 driven watch yet, but this ESA9158 Talis

and the ESA9157  Montine....

Another Junghan 600 powered watch is on the way, this time a Mathey Doret, sold as non running, but I'm hopeful.....

Hopefully, having it's identical Sheffield branded brother, fully working, I should find fault finding a bit easier....

Ordered both, SARB033 & 035 NIB's, before leaving home last week for work. They have since arrived & now awaiting my return tomorrow night. Plan on putting them both on leather straps, hope I like them!

HMT produced a number of commemorative watches over the years. Probably the most common one you may have encountered,  being the HMT Janata 'Mahatma Gandhi' (1869 – 1948). There are a few variants of this watch, and some after market dials in a similar theme. 

However what I have coming in the mail  is a little less common. This 404 club candidate HMT 'Ambedkar Centenari' 1891-1991  honours a less well known figure (less well know out side of India that is) - Dr B. R. Ambedkar.

The listing didn't show the mechanism, but it is almost certainly not an 'Automatic' as the listing states, but rather an HMT Janata 0231/Citizen licensed 02xx  based manual wind.

It looks to be in good condition, and I have a plentiful supply of spare parts if it has any issues.

Just won an auction for 22 vintage Timex watches. Almost qualified for @AndyHull's 404 club but the breakdown came in at $4.50 each. This is a mixed bag and I'm excited for a few of them especially the diver, the 2 100's, the LCD face analog, the early backset and several others. Quite a bargain!

I can't find much information about "Harola", but the watch is obviously in need of a crystal, and undoubtedly a service.
It looks most likely to have been produced some time between the late 1930s and the 1950s.

Based on a listing for a couple of almost identical watch, it probably had this movement inside, but the listing for this watch only shows the dial and case back. Whatever it contains, at 0.99p no other bidders you can't really go wrong.

A variation on the one tick per minute Taiwan Timex mechanism. It is missing the crown, but I figure I can probably improvise one, unless someone has a spare of course.

Even if the crown proves elusive, I'm only in to it for 0.99p, plus p+p so I'm not going to loose any sleep over it.  It would be nice to get it going though.

I have a vague recollection that these have a flush fitting pusher where the crown should be to advance the time electronically, which looks to be present in your case back. I believe that it shorts out a connection tab underneath the white plastic movement spacer against the case.

That is a really tidy looking watch. Very nice, especially when you consider its age. Produced some time around 1914 if my quick interwebz search of the serial number is correct.
