Hello, all.  I've gotten bits and pieces of info from the forum over time and lately have really been feeling the pull and thought I should sign up, so here I am!  (If nothing else, I finally have a question to ask that I'm not sure has a straightforward answer.)

I've always been fascinated by clockworks but what finally really captured me was inheriting this and wanting to ressurect it, which watch-wise is nothing special (bog-standard Molnija 3602 movement and common case design, probably from the 80's), but if I do end up breaking something parts are easily had:
