Hi Mark,

My late mothers family came from Great Yarmouth all connected with Trinity House. Surname is Hambling I've got back as far as 1624. Do you know anyone with that surname?

Hello Iceni,

Welcome from me in the North East UK.  As you can gather from the responses we are a fun loving bunch ( don't know a collective noun for watch repairers / makers so after reading the thread I thought the one for bananas would do :D

There is however a wealth of experience in this forum and I have been helped on numerous occasions.

Cheers,

Vic
