Best nine bucks ever on watch repair:

Recommended Posts

I’ve looked through this from the librar(ies) several times, but I finally have my own copy. From a library, ironically enough. Excellent condition! With the dust cover!

I shall commit it to memory (no, I won’t!) tonight. Or, read a bit of it... like visiting with an old friend!

If you're after the De Carle library you definitely need to add;

"Practical Watch Adjusting And Springing"  - ISBN-13 : 978-0719800504

"Complicated Watches And Their Repair" - ISBN 7198 0090 0

Both excellent reference material at the next level on.

This one:

"Complicated Watches And Their Repair" - ISBN 7198 0090 0

Is on my radar now. Some of the others I hadn't heard of, so thank you for that.

His earlier work was "tales from the watchmaker's bench" or something like that...
