  1. Is this a Ronda 515 ? Sure looks like one... By the way, if you don't manage to find this exact one (in case it's something other than a 515) ETA/Ronda make modern day equivalents of older movements so you should be able to find that one...

  2. The Elma Antimag works really well we have one at the shop I work at it works really nice. Then at home I have a different brand same principle I've used it for years. Easy to use just put whatever you have on push the button and I usually move the watch around a couple of times and that's because I'm not entirely sure where the field is how far out it goes so moving around the couplet times seems to work fine.

  3. Just be careful with dials as some are transfers. If you mess with that type, you can end up in all sorts of trouble. If you can find a little test, spot that cannot be seen when the watch and its dial are cased that is where to start. Personally, in my days I would send it to someone who just repaired dials, these days it can be expensive.

  5. I see, I’m not the only one. This one will have to do for now. I’m working on the cheap Unitas clone and I guess the next step will be cheap watches/movements from Ebay for learning purposes. From what I read the answer is ‘do as best as you can’

  7. So I have links to commercial and unfortunately expensive ones. Then if you want to make your own third link. http://www.greinervibrograf.com/?pageID=12&lng=en https://www.elma-ultrasonic.com/en/products/watch-testing-and-service-equipment/antimag/ http://www.instructables.com/id/Demagnetizer-From-a-Microwave-Transformer/

  8. So at least with Ronda they have technical information on the website. Then for identifying the watch it would be nice to have the rest of the watch in the picture and specifications like the diameter. Because different size movements will still look similar. For instance the first two links they both look similar except the second one is the correct battery which is conveniently located on the back of the case. Third link in case it's not one of these two. https://www.ronda.ch/en/movements/quartz-essentials/ronda-powertech-500/caliber/585/ https://www.ronda.ch/en/movements/quartz-essentials/ronda-powertech-500/caliber/515s/ https://www.ronda.ch/en/movements/quartz-essentials/ronda-powertech-500/
