Battery Warranty

Recommended Posts

After all the Crap i went through with My Swiss Army Watch i got out My Tissot watch and Ferrari ronda 5030 D, they both needed Batteries and i went to a Local Jewellers the Price was €15 and €22   Respectively  without warranty and they said that if i wanted a 5 year Warranty on the Batteries it would be  €22 and €30, IS this first a good thing to do so whenever ur battery dies in that 5 year period they will replace it, interested in your comments and about prices

Tools are 5 - 10 euros for all, batteries less than 50 cents each.

People normally gets batteries changed at small shops for 5 euros or less, leave jewelers their trade, that is selling jewels.

Same issue, Last year I purchased a Swiss Army Watch for my wife in Switzerland. After 6 months it stopped because the battery was just dead. New battery fitted and it now runs fine. I guess they stay in stock for a long time before being purchased.

PS the movement inside was a ETA

Anyone opening the watch will affect the waterproofing. If you want the watch sealed and tested, then that's a different level of cost.
