Hi guys,

Was wondering if you could help identify this movement. It has rusted and needs replacing!

Unfortunately, there is no codes on it. It looks very similar to a Rotary I have, but looks a little wider.

Kind regards,

Alan.

Brilliant thank you!

Don't hang about acquiring a movement. Swatch are restricting sales of ETA. When your parts suppliers run out, that will it.

Keep the spares then :) Have a few that i could use for spares when they no longer can be bought?

I'm a bit of a novice, so I do a lot of movement exchanges instead of servicing, but now I have a collection to practice on. I might see if I can salvage this one.

This is a eta 955 112, slightly bigger than the 955 412 as suggested.

also be aware these movements come in different heights, when exchanging the movement always check the hour wheels are the same height otherwise the hands will catch the glass or rub on the batons on the dial.
