Zenith 2562C movment date issues

Cheers Mates, 

Im currentley working on an Zenith 2562C movment that not always changes date. Somtimes it does change, but also somethimes not.

When Im turning it manually, everythings looks and work normally.

Anyone have been in the same situation??

Hi Points to check, date wheel teeth for being worn, The detent being free and not impeding the wheel,  and the change lever  for wear

Check the area where the date wheel sits for any protruding screw heads (screw too long). Also check for any burrs on the date wheel and the mainplate.

One other thing I have done is lubricate the mainplate where the date wheel rides opposite the date corrector (180deg) as this is the area of greatest friction. The date corrector will apply outward pressure on the datewheel and this will correspond to inward pressure 180deg away.
