Favre-Leuba 253 Service

Hey all,

 

Here is my first Service Walkthrough for servicing the Favre-Leuba 253 movement.  I found it easier to do this in a word processor and save it as a PDF rather than trying to make it into a giant post.  I hope that's ok.  

 

I welcome any and all constructive criticism of the document.

I am always worried that i loose track of which barrels goes where ..! Thank god for digital cameras!

@anilv does it matter which barrels go where? They look identical!

I seem to remember that one arbor was slightly different from the other?

That might explain why my F-L is running like a pig, Anil! Will do some investigating....

If it winds and runs then its probably my memory that's faulty... But as with all things mechanical, its always better to put stuff back in the same holes they came out off!
