Hello from Dave in Seattle

Hi everyone,

My name is Dave, and I live in the Seattle area of Washington, in the USA. I’m relatively new to the trade, and have taken a number of online courses on watch repair (Otto Frei’s courses, and now working on Anthony’s 7750 course through No BS Watchmaking). I’ve been repairing vintage wrist and pocket watches since mid-pandemic and am loving it. Usually I just lurk on these forums, as I hunt for information, but figured it was high time that I get involved!

Thanks all! I appreciate the welcome. 

Thank you for the suggestion, @oldhippy. I just saw his courses mentioned on the “Watchmakers helping watchmakers” page on Facebook and have been taking a look. It’s been very helpful taking classes from different instructors, due to the range of knowledge and techniques... I will keep his in mind for after I finish this current one.
