What Am I Missing

After a mainspring for a Seiko 6119c

They have them at cousins but are a bit expensive £16.50p, however, I also found one at £7.95.

So my question is what's the difference?

Is odd being the same size, but seems to be dependent on movement.

All other things appearing equal in the listed dimensions, you could find that the arbor diameter is different between these 2 springs

The one for Seiko is the 2534-X. The other is for ETA,  480mm (or 465 ?), not 420. I have notified them about that.

I have consulted my "Generale Resorts"  book and it does not show a GR25341X but does show a GR2533-1X which is the same as the GR2534X but slightly longer 10,5 not 9,5. + slightly weaker 0.11 not 0.115.  Personally I would just purchase the correct spring.

Which year is you book? If you open the Cousins link above you will see, as I mentioned, that GR25341X has been added and noted by hand after the catalogue was issued. 

In any case, again as mentioned already, that is not the correct MS for a Seiko.

Cousins has updated their website. They indicated that 25341X actual lenght is 430mm, not what the annotations say.
