  2. 4.7mm is the "normal" punch size for staking sets if there is such a thing, but you could never be sure and just buy any tool. You would need to ask the seller to measure the internal diameter I would think. Stephen

  3. Hi All , the postman delivered a couple of packages today that I really have been waiting for....it made a beautiful Hawaiian Day even better . I received a Marathon GSAR . Manufactured in Jan. 2007 , it doesn't look a day over Jan. 2014 . http://watchreport.com/review-of-the-marathon-gsar/ I received the watch with no band connected . Someone had colored the bezel red . In that package I also received a new bezel insert and a nylon Nato strap . In the other package I received a very Nice , well made , heavy duty Shark mesh strap . It came in a very large size but is adjustable with removable link sections joined with machined screws and posts . The whole bracelet is made well . After installing the new bezel insert , [thick aluminum ] , and installing and adjusting the new bracelet , we have this... Voila....

  7. Hang on...this is an EB8800 movement. EB Bettlach Co. They made pin lever movements in many calibers, including one jewel and 17 jewels. Hmm...the plot thickens!

  8. I don't see the nail brushes... :) I couldn't resist, sorry about the bad joke! Thank you for the heads up, I'll probably find a use for those. I stick my tweezers in a block of foam. That way they are ready to go and their tips are protected. Cheers, Bob

  13. Have a lot of balance staffs i don't now what do do with? Probably never going to replace one either? So if you like i can send them almost anywhere? I bought a lot of other stuff from an auction. So they are FHF and AS .Some ETA and Felsa. Maybe even some other movements aswell ? Most of them are in there bags or papers. So you can see what they are too and which movements they would fit? PM me if you interested . Goes to the first how takes them. Hope it's okay to offer free stuff? Otherwise take the thread away?

  14. Ooops! Hi everyone, I forgot to update this post with the finished watch. So here it is, you'll notice I decided to leave the dial as it was, but it was worthy of a new Omega bracelet.
