hi,can anybody tell what make this movement is.all i ca see inscribed is a capital B! Just curious as i would like to practice on it.

Looks like an old pin pallet Newmark.

Sorry Berni but I have searched through my "Bestfit" catalogs and have not been able to match any of the parts you have. It is a pin lever movement with a very unusual barrel/arbour/mainspring arrangement that I have not encountered before. It is very difficult to identify once a movement has been stripped.

Check on Mikrolisk if you can find anything. There is a lot to look at and could be hard finding the right name. But it's my best advice. 

Maybe Brac ? As they are using pin lever movements a lot.
