I thought I'd take a minute and introduce myself.  I've always been fond of watches, but recently had the opportunity to take one apart and fix it (replaced a wheel with a broken pivot).  I have a couple beat up Seiko 7S26 movements coming my way in the mail and will take those apart and put them back together a few times to make sure I know what I'm doing.  My goal is to be able to buy vintage automatic watches with mechanical issues and return them to service.  I look forward to chatting with the forum in the future!  Best regards - James

James,

Welcome fellow Michigander, you will like the overall quality of this site and members, PM me with your local, maybe we can swap parts/movements.

Hello James,

I think you will be right at home here, plenty of friendly advice will be given if needed.

Cheers,

Vic
