Seiko 6139B hairspring. Worth repairing?

Hello,

I am working on a Seiko 6139-7100 movement and the hairspring has me puzzled.  Would it be worth the trouble to attempt a repair?  If so, where would I start?  I've done a couple spring repairs that had minor issues, but this looks daunting to me. It is flat, and has been demagnetized and cleaned.  Any advice is much appreciated.

Difficult to tell how flat that is. The position of the collet makes it lookk like your camera at an angle ?

That was taken with a cell phone.  Here are some with the microscope.  The collet is slightly angled from when I removed it from the wheel.  I can correct that.

I cant understand from the picture is the spring just sticked but in one plane as if it's oily or it is stretched up like funel. Picture from aside needed. If stretch it up, like if the balance hangs on it, does always return back in this shape like on the picture?

Hi the picture is confusing by the angle can you post one from above the spring , looking down, and one from the side ideally to verify concentricity and the flatness.

I'll get a side view in a bit  There are already 2 shots looking down; taken on a flat surface with the coils perpendicular to the camera.  One side has all the coils compressed. This may be what's making it look like the shot was taken at an angle.

 

Well we can disregard this for now.  While holding the spring with tweezers to get a side shot, it launched into outer space.  I'll continue to look for it.  Anyone know a good place to get a replacement hairspring?

This actually looks like something is sticking all of the coils together at one point.

Have you thoroughly cleaned and demagnetised it?

That is what I thoght it was originally.   I cleaned it in the ultrasonic cleaner and with Hairspring cleaner.  I demagnetized it as well and tested.  I'd try to verify the magnetization again, but it's stil in orbit.  lol

 The coil can have fouled itself (I think this one has) , first thing to do is to unpin the stud from spring , next you run a needle thorugh the circles of the coil , start from the inner circle to outer, the coil is then likely to  jump to a  perfect concentric  shape. 

Do you know how to unpin the spring from the stud? 

Then you need to investigate what has caused it to foul itself, usually its a coil slightly above adjacent ones.

Unpin the spring to seperate the stud form spring,

mount the coil on a needle as shown, run  a  needle through  circle from inner all the way to the outer end.
