Quartz watch test. Need help

The test is similar for any watch, so if you post the module ID you can get the data sheet with the relevant values. 

Note that for testing safely you need a low voltage meter, not all are like that and you risk blowing the coil if it is not.

Hi  As said by jdm  pictures of the movement are always relavent as we can see what we are dealing with also the calibre number of the movement as we may be able to find a tech sheet with all the details,  I have attached a document by Whitsci which covers mechanical and quartz watches. May be a bit advanced for you at the moment but contains a lot of relavant  material.     Be careful using any old meter as jdm remarked on.   There are specific tools for testing quartz watches safely.

With a typical multimeter, the best you can do is check that the battery voltage is arriving into the PCB, and that the coil is in the range of a low number of KOhms, say between 1 and 10K is fairly typical.
