Greetings from Union County,Nc

Recommended Posts

Like a lot of folks here, I've been watching a lot of Mark's videos. So, I figured I could do it. WRONG. Ok, I did get some parts removed before I realized I had no clue and rather desperately tried to put them all back before I really screwed something up. I hope I can contribute to this community, at least a little. I have a small collection of vintage watches. Two of the three work, but need a strip and clean. The other needs something fixed. I was able, just, to re set the balance staff cap Stone and slid the little spring holder over it. I know that's not the right word but I'm still learning. Thanks for your patience. Jay

Hi Jay, welcome to the forum.

You may find datasheet and diagram of the movement assuring. Give the caliber No.

Eternaltools.com lists parts and their names, to an ETA movement.

The little spring that holds the jewel assembly in place is called shock spring.

Regards
