  3. I’ve just bought myself this Unimat 3 lathe with loads of add-ons including milling attachment est to have cost around £2000 the seller was asking £890 I made an offer of £750 which the seller has excepted. Many parts have not been out of there boxes and never used. I have been thinking over the past few days about starting some clock repairs as a hobby. My eyesight is not that good but I have been tinkering around with a few old movements and getting the feel of things and I am enjoying myself. When it arrives, I will take better pictures and I will be able to explain about all the extras.

  4. At my work we had a Weidmüller printjet Pro which is a label and cable mark printer. As with many other printers, it could not withstand standing for too long, so the print head could not work anymore and a repair was too expensive. After half a year at our warehouse it was decided that it should be thrown out. I chose to take it home and pair it as I saw that there were some 3 mm. drive belt in it. I have now divorced it and certainly did not regret it. In addition to UV lamps, motors and fans there were a lot of wheels and bearings with holders that could be used to build accessories for lathe or other tools. I am very happy about my decision.

  6. Only replying as this is a very rare part and will be near impossible to find elsewhere. We have the Omega part, VP2075, measures 258.5mm square, curved along the edges, omega symbol in the middle. £30 + post and vat.

  7. If so that is the same as in some 7546 watches. Like the grey part that sits outside the gasket. Have one of those if you like?

  10. No trace of this on their site and although they replied, they emphasised the need for precise measurement - and no reference to the above code; and the three items they suggested in a link are all out of stock. I can measure the corner to corner dimensions easily enough, however without a suitable profile gauge I can't measure the radius of the bezel. Without an example of the crystal itself I can't know the profile of the glass. Stymied. Still, there's £300 of scrap gold there... Roy

  15. I had one years ago, so I know what they can do. One of the best mini lathes you can get, I don't know why their no longer being made. The picture is the one the seller used on ebay, so your have to wate untill I have it for photos of better detail.

  16. Some oils makes the gasket sticky and it could be even worse then before or without oil or grease. Seiko silicon grease is what i use and stick to
