New to Pocket Watches

Hi

New on this site.

I have worked on antique clock for about 2 years. Then I got hooked on Seth Thomas pocket watches and I'm hook on pocket watches.

So, not much work on my antique clocks of late. Marks youtube videos helped my learning curve very much.

Keep up the good work and thanks.

P.S. Before this I build and raced a car. Quit a contrast.

Hi Frank, Welcome and You are doing OK by the sound if it. I have given up on an ancient Verge PW. Sold the movement and cannot tell you what I have done to it on here. Looks good tho. I have an old English lever PW to get together slowly. Keep on going, Regards, Mike.

Have you worked on any verge clocks? If so you will have some idea on how a verge works. As ecodec has said they can have big problems and are not for the faint hearted.
