OK. I give up I searched high and low....It seems finding Crystal part numbers for seiko is some kind of Trade secret.

I have a Seiko SSC505  case # v175-0dm0  Looking for a Hardlex Crystal. Does anyone have a part number and or a source where I can purchase one .

Thanks

Looks like it's a flat crystal that you can easily replace for a generic one, even sapphire if you desire.

Thanks ..I get the fact I can use a generic ... But in case, for whatever reason, I want to use an original part I know how and where to find it.

For instance I do not have access to the watch to measure and would like to place the order before it arrives. I would be able to know the size I need to order a generic if that's the route I wanted to go.

For newer seiko it could be hard to find parts. Check with Jules borel or perrinwatches. They have lots of Seiko parts.

I can find Car parts, electronic parts or just about anything else. It seems you have to jump through a lot of hoops to find watch parts. Hell I wouldn't even mind if I found out the part was discontinued, at less I can end the search. Shouldn't there be a parts list somewhere for all watches produced especially the newer ones. Its easier to find 100 year old pocket watch parts

If you can find out which crystal you need . You can always do a request on cousisnuk. Tried there but they only had 2 crystals for V175 watches.
