Hello, I recently completed the overhaul and reassembly of the watch without any noticeable issues. Time setting, date window change, and the movement of the seconds hand were all functioning properly. However, after some time, I noticed that the minute hand intermittently stops and then resumes moving. In your opinion, where might the problem be? I suspect that the issue could be related to the cannon pinion, possibly due to insufficient friction after reassembly. Could this be the cause, or should I also consider checking the third wheel? Thank you very much for your time and advice. -
lol, the surge protection is something else I'm working on. I make a recess with this type of grinding wheel then glue a washer in place. The glue is just secondary as the recess and wheel should hold it in place anyway. I know it's not pretty but it works.
