I recently started using our government imposed curfew to indulge in my watch passion. I had no idea on how to even change a battery,  but after reading posts and threads from here have become confident enough  to change batteries and water seal my tissot chronograph. Next step is my Tag Heuer aquaracer calibre s regatta. Look forward to carry on reading your posts and topping up my knowledge!

Welcome Ian, enjoy the forum. PS If it as me I would not be working on a Tag until I had gained some experience. Its so easy to destroy a watch.

Thanks clockboy. You're right and the Tag is the long term goal.  My ambition is to be able to service this myself long term whilst adding to my watch collection and indeed be able to maintain all my watches.  For now though,  basic things like changing batteries,  cleaning and sealing o ring gaskets is about my limit.  The next immediate step is to learn how to remove and seal the crown.
