I'm looking for hands (3) & a crystal (4cm dia.) for my watch Serial No. 85590 as shown in the photo. I'd be grateful for suggestions re potential sources; and to know if uv glue would be suitable for re-fixing the 12mm dia. seconds dial.

This 1896 book details a lot of the machinery Waltham had developed before 1900 https://archive.org/details/evolutionofautom00mars_0/mode/2up

Welcome to the forum, enjoy. The issue is watches that are sold as waterproof are only valid if serviced and fitted with new gaskets fitted particularly those that are around the stems.A picture of the watch would be helpful for a better analysis..

I have a barometer on my work bench that needs a replacement glass.. Diameter 77mm, 2mm thickness. BUT a hole in dead centre. I can source a glass but drilling a hole dead centre without a mishap is high risk. Anyone encountered this dilemma or know where to purchase please give a heads up.

I've inherited a pendulum clock with a broken pallet (please see photo) & I'd be grateful for advice as to whether, & if so, how a repair could be effected. As adhesive - even if it were strong/durable enough - would slightly alter the pallet geometry, I was wondering if a suitably shaped brace could be spot welded to each side edge to effect a connection but could the pallet be cast iron & therefore likely to fracture?. Also, what terms should I use (e.g. descriptive of the type of pallet) in searching for a replacement online?
