Hello,

My name is Rob (RobTicToc) and I am an Apprentice Watchmaker under my father who is a Master Clockmaker with over 40 years of experience. Our family's history in horological repair dates back to my great-grandfather who was a Jeweler, Watchmaker, Clockmaker and owner at Tassé Jewelers in Worchester, MA. My grandfather learned the trade from his father and founded Tasse Clock Repair in East Hartford, CT and passed down his knowledge to two of his sons. My father learned from his father and is now mentoring me.

I am the Co-Owner of our little family business and I manage our website and advertising.

I am a career military warrant officer and I am nearing retirement. Luckily I have the opportunity for my father to live with me so I can apprentice under him. I plan to apply to a WOSTEP curriculum after retirement and later achieve my CW21 certification.

I learned about this forum from watching Mark's videos on YouTube and have been lurking for a couple months. I finally decided to join the forum and introduce myself.

I look forward to collaborating with all of you and to share in our passion for horology.

With all that, knowledge handed down you will be able to lend a hand in helping others on here. I have been retired for a few years now. I had my own business in watch/clock making and specialised in high quality antique clocks. Post a link to your website so we can have a look.
