Help please. I have a 7s26A with a loose rotor bearing. The weight is rubbing on the case back. I've spent a couple hours looking everywhere for a replacement with no luck. I did find a rotor for a 7s36 on eBay. Would that one fit? Or if any one has a suggestion for an equivalent rotor with bearing or just a bearing, it would be very helpful. Thanks in advance for any help.

I know how you feel as I was in the same spot as you. In the end I sold the movement for spares and got a cheap seiko 5 with a good movement.

You can only use the 7s26a rotor, no other will fit. I don't know if the 7s26b and c variants fit...

I got my Seiko 5 for 12-14$ and it was functional, beat up on the outside, but functional and in good condition on the inside.

You could probably take the rotor from a NH movement. cousinsuk don't have the rotor any more but check with others like perrinwatches and jules borel. Rotor for 7S36 will work as long as it's looks the same.

Hey, I have a 7s26 that’s in pieces. I took it apart to practice and then promptly lost the center wheel. So it’s of no use to me, but you’re welcome to it for the cost of shipping. Let me know.

Thanks for all the help. I went for the eBay 7s36 rotor. The seller is confident it will work.

mousekar, I'll keep you in mind if I need any other parts.

They all fit, including 7S, 4R, 6R and their NH counterparts. For details about 7S26 parts compatibility across versions check my table at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRN2UULQKTfKmhRStZhDdIOIQrqd6sPB-g6x2SKyQQjOvTBjG_7TQXQhAT4f1WqAX5QAPkIimi-3jqd/pubhtml

I think I may love you. Do you have comparison charts for any of the older ref’s? I’ve made similar for the 7Axx range, although the file got corrupted and I’ve not tried to resurrect it yet, and I have a partial one for the 6139 series.
