Experiences with the webshop Watchtool.co.uk?

Hi there,

I am new to the world of watch repair and ordered my first tools (screwdrivers, tweezers and the lot) to get started from Watchtool.co.uk.

I have placed the order on January 23rd and paid by bank transfer (the only selectable option regardless their PayPal logo on the homepage). I haven't received the order and also can't track my parcel with the given track & trace number as it is non-existing with the carrier. Normally I would assume that it could take a while but I tried to contact them both by mail and phone, but they haven't replied.

Does anyone have a recent experience with this web shop (part of the TWGC ltd.)?

Hi

It's obviously too late for you now, but a search of the website name would have shown a lot of negative experiences, with this and other associated sites eg. watch parts.co.uk, TWGC. Also, again too late, but never pay by bank transfer, just don't buy if that is the only option.

Have bought some o-rings from them and it wasn't any problem? 

Maybe it's the postal service where you live as they use UPS. Search whick company that handles the postage from UPS i your country? And see if they could help you? 

There seam to been some problems in the past with them when i search watchtool.co.uk  problem  on google?

Yesterday (February 7th) the items were received. If only they would have communicated .

I will shop elsewhere the next time.

They are renowned for poor communications, but usually the purchased items eventually show up.
