Interesting tool

Saw this on EBay, bit expensive for me although I'd like it:

Imagine how good that would be, a tool to untangle all those messed up hairsprings ;).

Some of the hairsprings I 've seen in my like that tool wouldn't make any difference.

A cool tool to have I guess but a balance tack and a fine oiler would do the job.

I think the inventor got carried away, literally.

Who in their right mind would spend that sort of money for something that would more than likely 'just sit on a shelf' and leave the buyer thinking 'that's an awful lot of hairsprings I've got to untangle'.
