After a bit more tweaking here are the result (I thought 250'ish is nice, but would you look at that): Mainspring dilemma: I could not find proper documentation, some say it has a power reserve of 44h... well it did run for that long. After 24h the amplitude dropped around 15-20 deg, which I would assume is fine. I guess if it runs like that, there is no need to look for another mainspring...?

Eyup Tom, yes i looked at those yesterday, i have them in my basket already, not expensive either. The pusher i used is a seitz so yes they do fit the 4mm clone, it was the biggest one seitz make so would not do an hour hand. It was just another idea of doing it. I've done a few on a staking tool before and this way would work there just as well too. It made it a one handed operation by keeping the hand in place and added a little hand finish protection, instead of trying to hold a hand on a stump with paper inbetween and drop the stake into position onto the tube. Life is hard enough as it is 🥲 -
Confusing - but Boley.de is not at all the maker of lathes. They are wholesalers like Cousins. Successor of Leinen is Prätecma (Praetecma), not far from Boley.de in Germany. Frank

The centre grub screws should be adjusted to support the centre jewel when you push the seconds hand on. Tom

I would think they would still maintain contact with a lot of manufacturers and do some one off sourcing for an existing customer if they can. Tom
