Well I don't like to brag, but I did it!

Of course with guidance from Mark's videos, and tips and encouragement from Geo, Old Hippy, Clock Boy, JohnR725 and Bobm12.

So here's a little thankyou from me via a mad Englishman.

i started to read this thread and couldn't stop. the thing i like most about all of this watch goings on is the diagnosis. i'm certainly far from being even remotely good at diagnostics and repair, but i like to see the rest of you toss it about and end up with the right fix.

i love that P/W, jim. very understated and right up my alley. it is a looker.

enamel dial - or metal?

and how big is it? i can't get a fix on it's size.

Thanks for the pat on the back, I think I earned it but I would not have been able to cross the line without the help from our members.

The dial is enamel in very nice condition and the watch is a nice size, not too small and not too big, but just right  ;)
