Newbie here, saying hello

Recommended Posts

I have not worn watches for years because I would beat them up. Now I'm retired and I'm trying to be careful. I dug my once beautiful Seiko Quartz out of a drawer, put a battery in it and it's running like a top. It took nearly a week to find out how old the watch was. I had no memory of when or where I bought this watch. Turns out that this watch was made in June of 1976, 3 months short of 49 years old. Whats more, I found with four more watches with it. A Bill Blass, 2 Skagens and a fake Tag Heuer. I do have a faint memory of buying the fake Tag watch because at the time,I was a pilot for Tag Aviation, USA. I'll be working on getting the Bill Blass watch and the Tag watch running soon. Those 5 plus one I bought last week are in a photo that is attached.
