Precision Watch Adjustment the WOstep Way

Recommended Posts

While I  have not posted here in several years ,   I see some old friends. And from what  I read, there is good representation worldwide with many solid answers and suggestions that make me rethink why  I do some things the way I do.  Thanks.

Attached is paper I wrote a couple years ago for customers and people interested in pursuing precison timing but who do not the opposrtunites to attend  a formal course.  I would like to point out those who contibuted in the acknowldegements at the end of the paper.

I hope you find it helpful.

Regards,

Dewey Clark

Thank you for posting this. It has demystified a number of concepts for me, being a complete newcomer to the art.

Your closing remark will stick with me:

Quote

The timing machine is your task master. It does not close its eyes. It is an objective witness to your work.

Thanks.  Interesting that today I have been immersed in this very issue and already watch a video on dynamic poising.  This document is a good companion to the video.

I began the day thinking I would do static poising on this Waltham RR watch.  But I did not want to remove the hairspring and had heard of dynamic poising so that is what led my search.
