Looks like it was part of the case. Old watch cases never had those spring bars. The only thing you can do is drill the holes so it will take spring bars.

Looks to be in good condition, and fairly modern. I've never seen a bent regulator arm like that. Also the click is in an odd position. Should make identifying easier. I found a comment suggesting that Cortebert are known for curved regulators

I can't wait to see. I'm hoping for something good. I just hope it's not one of those bleeping FHF 96, as in the Mumbai Specials 🤣
