I Was Invited So Don't Get Upset That I Am Here Lol

Recommended Posts

Just bought my first real watch and may just be interested in getting into servicing and repairing watches for a hobby.

Of course if I end up being good at it I will cut you guys a deal on my services!

Thanks GEO!

A warm welcome to the helpful house of horology. There are a lot of great folk on here with a passion for watch repair, both the advice and banter is of a high standard. It's good to see that you have started with a splash of humour, that's the way we like it. :)

I stongly suggest you take some time to view Mark's (the boss) repair videos if you are serious about repairing watches. It's not the easiest thing to do correctly, but if you have aptitude and determination you will manage.

Hello Wingman and welcome to the forum,

My only longstanding advice is to take pics before you remove each bit, I am of course referring to watch disassembly not clothing etc.

Cheers,

Vic
