Hi, I have never been a watch guy, but just lost my father and inherited his watch. It’s not an expensive watch, but it is special to me. It’s needs a good cleaning, and service/repair so I thought I should try and learn what to expect when sending it out for work. There aren’t a lot of watch repair places near me so I figured I should do some research.

I did find a place I have faith in, but the gentleman is older, and has been downsizing his inventory of parts. If he needs to order parts, the repair will take much longer. However if I supply the parts myself the repair would be quick.
