Help ID Movement Maker

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Hopefully a quick question

I have been asked to look at an Everite Half hunter Pocket watch, I assume its not too old given the plastic movement spacer, I am stuggling to find out who actually made the movement, its Swiss made but I can find none of the usual identifying marks, as seen in the picture below all it says is ES 95 and SEMAG AV, any clues from that as to who the movement maker actually was.

It needs an escape wheel so I need that info if I am to stand a chance of finding one.

Thanks for any help with this

Paul

Had a bit of luck with this one, I found another make of watch on eVilBay that had the same movement (ES95) and a different fault, it was listed as having a damaged balance spring, got it for a reasonable price for a broken watch on eVilBay and sure enough the escape wheel was fine so my friends watch is back in working order, mind you the problem with the balance and the rest of the watch was the thick green oil (I assume it was oil 😉 ) it was swimming in.

Nice result in the end.
