I agree on the pivot- and I would check very carefully the cap jewel (and hole jewel), it likely has wear as well. -
It's hard to tell from the pic (and I know it's very hard to get a good pic) but I agree with Frank. The pivot looks (possibly) worn at the end. Look at the line of light reflection

I recently had exactly the same problem on an ETA 2773. Cousins don't stock the reversers any more, but I found another cleaning cycle made things much better. I had been using my own mix of lubricant - 9010/naphtha, but now I've switched to Lubetta I'm getting more consistent results
