Hello.  Of course doing research for the quality tools that don't break the bank.  Trying to learn why one watch with a Seiko knock-off movement is worth $3k and another is worth $200.

Hello and welcome to the forum. There is no rational argument as to why that is except people are gullible. A fancy dial and name plus case is what sells the watch to the average punter, there are those of us who probe a bit deeper.    The fashion watch industry is rife with names like Gucchi etc all sporting Miyota movements . You pays your money and takes you choice.
