Hello all!

My name is Knut, and my home is in Norway. I was recommended this forum by a watch friend in the US.

I've been interested in Timex watches for the past 16-17 years, doing restorations/repairs mainly on the vintage mechanical Timex's ( although I have also done the odd Electric/Electronic Timex ^_^ ). I also collect vintage Timex watches. In addition to Timex, my other "brand" is ORIS watches of which I own a handful.

By joining Watch Repair Talk I hope to learn more about the wonders of the mechanical watch, and the process of servicing/repairing/restoring one. And although I know my way around a Timex, I must admit that I haven't tackled too many other watches. Hopefully that will change :)

I have also watched Mark's superb video channel - a great resource!

Thanks!

Kind regards, Knut
