diesel DZ7080 LCD watch

Hi     Has anybody out there had a fiddle with these big guys, Just pulled one out of the box for a second look.  It is dead as it came to me, 

 after replacing the batteries and shorting out the ac link to restart it is still dead. not able so far to find any tech info on these beasts 

or who supplied the electronic units. So open to any suggestions except the bin

Any visible corrosion? Outside of fried trons it could be a problem of electrical contact.

If we can see some good shots of the module, then it is possible we might spot something.

The pictures of the watch I found online suggest it is an OLED display, and there are a number of possible issues that might cause the thing to be dead. Often stone dead is easier to fix than for example a cracked display, so there is hope for the thing.

lol yes it actually does but a Quick fix on this matter is just to search on DZ7080.
I'm not a huge wiz on this type of watches but can recall some discussion a while ago about something with the backlight not working after battery replacement.
