Tool for Removing Material from Balance

Hi. What is this tool called that removes tiny amounts of material from balance wheels for poising? I can't seem to locate it anywhere.

It's a tool to balance a balance or a reamer. This tool is really only for the pro's IE no going back if you remove too much material from a balance rim the balance is destroyed.

Awesome thanks! But you can use it to remove material from timing screws as well?

There are tools specifically for removing material from timing screws Bergeon 30402 is one. I don't think that one above would be useful for timing screws.

Interesting the Burgeon 30402 is listed on my supplier website as obsolete. And nothing on eBay at the moment. They seem hard to find. I'd also like to get hold of some assorted timing washers but can't seem to find any of those either

Ah, I can see there are a fair few in the US. Nothing local though. And they're all vintage. I guess nobody manufactures them any more.

Thanks for this. Looks like it needs some work. Might hold out for a 30402. I grabbed this a couple of days ago which seems to be a really good price...
