Hi Guys, I was gifted this watch a few months ago, and I have been searching ever since to try and find some history about it and which movement it has in it.

Could anyone shed some light on it and let me know ?

Thanks,

Chris.

Thank you, so I am assuming it's just a 1970's mass produce budget watch ?

It really has took my fancy as I don't own anything like it and it works very well, I don't think it has actually been worn very much as it's in excellent condition.

I can't find any reference to it on Web so I don't even know if it is the original strap but have no reason to think otherwise.

Will it be an original Duward as I can find reference to that and something similar but not sure ?

Obviously the day is in spanish, was it made for the Spanish market or south America ?

Thanks, Chris.

Duward are a spanish watch making company. I would say that is the original bracelet. Be careful if that bracelet breaks it might be hard to get another. There not top notch movements, but there good movements.

Think the correct name for this watch is Aquastar . Aquastar made them. And then each country rebranded them with there own name. Duward is a Spanish watch company. If you google Aquastar you will find such fine makes as Tissot and Heuer . Great looking watch.
