Hi! I just bought another two beautiful anniversary watches - Hermle and Kundo watch. Kundo is interesting... I tought that it will be quartz, but it's not... Well, the problem is that lower part is bended. The central shaft scrapes against the cup and the clock stops after a few rotations. I tried to straighten it, but failed. Can someone explain to me how to disassemble that lower part to get to the shaft? There are no screws. How can I remove the torsion spring? It's the same thing with Hermle... I know how to dissasembly torsion spring, but not the rest. The both clocks are from the same seller... 😞 Thank's BR -

Hi! Do you maybe change the time counterclockwise after switching to the DST? If you switch time in Australia... Or maybe battery or movement quality...? BR -

VWatchie. I do have to agree with you. I started oiling 2 1/2 years ago. Looking back, I'm sure I would have filled the swimming pool. I now base my oiling on Adam's demonstrations of Weekend watch repair. Very lucid views. I have noticed the differece in the final outcome of my movements. My preperation and cleaning is noticeable in what it produces. Good smooth wheel trains and easy controlled motion of the keyless. Yes I do, as I hope others do, take note of the comments of members. -
Good morning, I'm really struggling with this and have run out of ideas. I've got a eta 1080 missing it's regulator arm, replacement was easy and cheap to get hold of, but I need to fit it over the inner lip of the stud ring on the right of the pic. When I pinch the stud ring closing it's gap they are both the same size. So to get the regulator arm on I need to hold the strut ring closed, hold open the regulator arm ring in a manner that means I can still fit one onto the other. At a loss. I've all the usual watch making tools available, apart from a lathe...I can picture a jig that would do the job. I hope someone has a clever trick!
