In this months (Jan 2018) BHI mag there is a short article headed “new take on the spare parts problem” . “The British watch & clockmakers’ guild” have started a data base for the search for spare parts. You have to register to to upload your parts for sale but it is FREE for anyone just looking for that illusive missing or broken part. I have done a few test searches and some very, very familiar names of sellers are emerging!!!!.
Anyway their web site address is as follows

Noticed a while ago that Christian at watchguyuk had a link on his site to something very similar.

Useful resource.

That is Christian’s database. I posted a link to it a few months back, but got moderated as it wasn’t clear if this was just a lead-in to his main site. Good to see this is being more widely supported now.

Would be better if there where a site where you can enter parts you need. This endless searching is killing me sometimes. Don't say that site is bad but usually find the parts elsewhere faster and cheaper. It's the hard to find parts we need to find. Not the easy that you can buy at walmart or harrods :)
