Arrow logo on 'trench' watch

Recommended Posts

A while ago I picked up cheaply a silver cased 'trench watch'.

I decided this week to see if I could restore it, but once stripped down it became obvious it is beyond my skill due to wear caused by a previous 'repair'.

For some reason the barrel bridge has been filed on the inside where the barrel arbor passes through causing massive amounts of end shake which in turn has worn the pivot hole oval in the main plate. It is possible that the barrel bridge is also not original as it is a very tight fit too.

But besides that I was wondering if someone can ID the logo, its a Swiss made watch.

For fun I will also show the oval hole, I didn't bother to take a photo of the filing on the barrel bridge.

It's a shame as I was looking forward to getting this watch going again.
