7750 eta & chinese pin broken

Recommended Posts

Hi guys I got my hands on a Chinese 7750 which is broken to play with and I wanna make it work. First I'm impressed by the quality of the movement when I took it apart.

It's far from the quality of the standard Chinese B etc. movements.

I figured out that there was a broken pin on the barrel and train wheel bridge which holds the Minute counter driving wheel.

I got the original train wheel bridge from a 7765 which fits the Chinese 7750 perfectly just the diameter of the broken pin is wrong.

So I could just put an original wheel. But I want to learn how to fix a broken pin which looks friction fit.

So how do I replace the pin?

Where can I buy these pins / what is the name for it (German name would be awesome ????).

I was hoping to finally have a good excuse to buy a staking set [emoji4]

The Chinese movement is the top one:

Thank you guys I'm looking forward to your answers
