@Kalanag indeed, but the superclone Rolex do rest Obote £2000 in price as a rule. I would still rather pay that for a watch from a reputable manufacturer with some history and heritage behind it. Besides don’t want my kids or grandkids to have legal problems when I’m gone trying to sell it. Tom

Gluing the roller on is the least risky in terms of damage. There is a 3 sided stake that pushes metal into the bore enough to grip the staff. I have also seen opposite indent marks made to the tube, much like there is on a cannon pinion. Both the tool methods could potentially damage the roller. -
Welcome to the forum. We'd need to see photos of the movement including the keyless works unless you already know what calibre it is?
