Hi all,

I'm servicing a Seiko 7T32-6N10 and am tryinf to source a flat black gasket that fits between the slide rule bezel and case. As far as I can determine, it's a flat plastic one as ca be seen in this video:

Does anyone know the part number and a supplier?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for linking my video :) The gasket is the following:

0Z3444B02 ROTATING BEZEL GASKET In Stock

Seiko Oceania states they have them in stock, so you may want to contact Adrian @ VTA and ask him if he can get it. He's active in another forum, though, not here.

Hi George, thanks for the info and your great videos on Seiko 7T32 servicing. ? Adrian @ VTA, can you elaborate please.

I finally managed to snag one of these and it too is in need of a bezel gasket.
Where did you get it eventually?

The problem with the black ring is it deteriorates over the years and usually crumbles away. I is only there as a feature piece.

However, when the bezel is removed one can see the channel in the bezel that the black ring sits in. The rings are obsolete but easy to make. I took the measurements of the channel and scribed the inner/outer onto (off eBay etc.) a piece of model makers' black polypropylene sheet and cut it out by hand. It can be a snug fit in the channel and may need to be reduced in thickness. Actually there should be a very thin clear plastic shim that sits between the base of the bezel and case, this is only to reduce any friction and take up any slack between the two.

Good luck, it's worth doing and they do look great when finished.

Yet another Seiko part that's obsolete [emoji37]
Wonder if any will turn up on yahoo Japan.
In the meantime I'll try your method.
