Has anyone modified a mechanical watch to run counter clockwise? I'm asked whether a mechanical watch can be modified to run counter clockwise. Is it possible?

So far whatever came up on Internet search, are those of quartz movements. Is there even any mechanical movement made to run counter clockwise?

Ro63rto, do you mean Seiko? Any idea how they did it?

This is sometime done on Seiko, e.g. on the 7005. Probably because it's not too difficult to fit escapement and pallet fork upside down (not that I've tried).

Would be interesting to do sometime? An old Seiko 7005 could be easy  to buy cheap on Ebay.

Why would you want to do such a thing?

Have you never wished to turn back time? I sure as hell have! :D

I'd like my life over again there's a hell of a lot I would change.

That watch maker from Philippine seems very good at reconditioning watches. I do have some Seiko 6309 to try on since he has proven it can be done with this movement.

Oldhippy, wearing one could help grow back hairs on my balding spot. Haha
