Hello!

I'm Jay, a new member!

I have a love for mechanical watches and clocks, to the point that I'm all out of wall space and I'm in the process of expanding my watch storage

I was at an estate sale and there were two watches, tightly packed into a plastic bag. I couldn't make out what was inside, but when I saw the $1.00 price tag I decided that my curiosity could wait until I got home.

Inside I was rewarded with a very early Enicar and this Timex. I cant find any numbers that will help me with date and model, so I thought I would seek outside assistance. Look familiar?

Thanks!

Jay

Out of curiosity, I checked what $15.95 in 1960 would be in today's dollars.

and for the calculation, they most likely used the governments CPI index. So, in today's confetti currency, the price would be even higher 😆
