Hello everyone,

I'm trying to restore my father's old Seiko 2260-5510 quartz. I'm not really skilled on Seiko and I'm not able to find any info on bezel and case-back gaskets (they are shaped). They really need to be substituted.

Where can I find parts numbers? Are there any catalogue online?

Are there any non-Seiko equivalents if original parts are not available?

Thank you very very much in advance.

Regards.

You can look for case parts on Cousins, but they don't list any for your movement. Neither do the Jules Borel database.

Cousins have a page for Seiko gaskets, but you need to know the Seiko part number

https://www.cousinsuk.com/category/seiko-gaskets-list

For the case back gaskets, I measure and buy generic.

Here is a link to some very useful Seiko case info :

Seiko 2260-5510 quartz

Pictures are nice so we know what you're talking about

Then the problem with the various places where were looking is Seiko parts can be region located. So in other words Seiko watches that were not distributed out of Japan will typically not have parts available anywhere else.

Thank you for your reply.  I've attached some pictures.

The watch was bought here in Italy so I hope that some spare parts are still available somewhere outside Japan!

Thanks.

Thank you very much, great material at that link!

I'll go for generics for case back.

For the bezel I think I'll directly glue it to the case with hypo cement.

A little bit scared of separating glass from bezel... Maybe I won't find another gasket of present? Or is it glued? 😅

Thank you again.

Could you turn the crystal over so we could see the other side.

Then sometimes with the gaskets and I just can't tell with this one sometimes the gaskets are actually Rowlands and they just fit into the groove are not actually shaped but this one I'm just not sure about

that it also be nice to see the back of the watch case

You are right, searched other sites with correct Hattori case number but here written wrong one! It's 2620-5510! 🤦‍♂️

Thank you for your help, I don't have original gaskets, but will go with generics if not available...

It's amazing what happens if you have the right part number. See go to the link above and you get parts numbers like Crystal which they don't have it all apparently but if you Google the crystal number here is supposedly one

https://www.stsupply.com/sa9n99kn00-seiko-crystal.html

Second link here looks more promising because it's basically taking you to eBay where you can go directly yourself I just haven't quite got there yet

https://www.emmywatch.com/db/part/crystal_x--sa9n99kn00/

http://www.julesborel.com/s.nl/it.A/id.22518/.f

https://gleave.london/glass-seiko-sa9n99kn00/

So basically go the first link click on the items you want get the part number in search online although they do have the gasket. Looks like Crystal may be in its Leon eBay. Otherwise the UK company looks like they have it probably others have it on not go to spend a lot of time looking I forgot that you had updated the case number
